Nakisa is a native Arizonan admitted to the practice of law in 2016. She is licensed to practice in both state and federal court and obtained her juris doctor degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Ms. Azizi also holds a bachelor’s degree in political science.
Before becoming a litigator, Ms. Azizi had the pleasure of helping hundreds of disabled clients obtain their SSI/SSDI benefits from the Social Security Administration. Today, as a solo practitioner and the founder of Black Canyon Law, Ms. Azizi continues to advocate on behalf of the disenfranchised at both the trial and appellate levels, representing clients in matters ranging from construction defect and civil rights to medical malpractice and wrongful death.
